How to use the cloaking device on the Hovercraft 3000

Introduction
The cloaking device is used to cover the whole hovercraft and make it invisible. This is done by
using time cameras to adapt the pictures that they collect onto a light emitting polymer on the
opposite side. This causes the device to bend light, creating a term called adaptive camouflage. It
enables the hovercraft to remain invisible despite its surroundings. Switching on the cloaking
device consumes a lot of power, so it interferes with some of the other functions in the
Hovercraft. This is mentioned in the rules and precautions section.
Rules and Precautions
Before using the cloaking device, make sure all precautions are taken to prevent danger.
Do not load and unload the Hovercraft 3000 when the cloaking device is on. It is highly
dangerous and can end up in disastrous results.
Before landing or taking off, make sure that you uncloak the Hovercraft 3000 within
1000 feet of being near the landing dock or takeoff station.
Do not uncloak the vehicle immediately after you cloak it. If this is done, you would not
be able to cloak it for another one hour.
Once the cloak button is pressed, it should be left on for a minimum of 20 minutes and a
maximum of 5 hours. If you exceed the time limit, it would send the Hovercraft 3000 into
overdrive and might end up destroying the cloaking device.
If you are 50 feet away from a non-cloaked vehicle, the Hovercraft 3000 cloaking device
will deactivate.
Any other cloaked vehicle can be less than 50 feet away without disabling the Hovercraft
3000 cloaking device.
A fleet of cloaked Hovercraft 3000 can be within 50 feet of each other without disabling
the cloaking device. If one Hovercraft 3000 deactivates, the whole fleet deactivates as
well.
If the cloaking device is on, the release of missiles or any weapons are delayed by 3
seconds.
Do not, under any circumstances, run the maximum speed when the cloaking device is
on. 75% of the speed capabilities are available to use.
Do not use the cloak function in a place that the enemy has a visual on you.

Instructions on how to turn on cloaking device
Step 1: On the monitor, type in cloaking scan. A
screen should pop up such as figure 1. Click scan
now and wait for scan to complete.
This is used to scan for other vehicles,
determine if it is safe to use the cloaking
function, and put up the necessary shield to
put us under the radar so that we would not
be detected.

Step 2: Once it states, scan completed like

Figure 2, you may proceed.
If it is not safe to proceed, a
message of error will come up
stating, Error, do not proceed! It is
not safe! If that occurs, go to a
different location and try again.

Step 3: Click the button circled in the Figure 3 to activate the

cloaking device.
To make sure that the cloaking device has been activated,
the cloaking icon in Figure 3 will be flashing green.
Step 4: To deactivate the cloaking device or uncloak, simply
press the same cloaking icon as done in step 3.

The cloaking icon will not flash green once the clocking device turns off. This means that
you can know when it deactivates even if you did not deactivate it yourself. It can be
deactivated due to the things listed under the rules and precaution section.
Conclusion
Please follow all the rules and precautions; it is to ensure your safety. The cloaking technology
have been crafted and modified to best fit the Hovercraft 3000. The steps and rules have been put
in place in order maximize the overall use of the Hovercraft 3000 and to prolong its productivity.
