LEARNING OBJECTIVES
GLO A Students will acquire skills through a variety of developmentally appropriate
movement activities; dance, games, types of gymnastics, individual activities, and
activities in an alternative environment; e.g., aquatics and outdoor pursuits.
SLO A2 10 (Application of Basic Skills in Games): create and play body and space
awareness games.
GLO C Students will interact positively with others.
SLO C2 3 (Fair Play): identify and demonstrate etiquette and fair play.
GLO D Students will assume responsibility to lead an active way of life.
SLO D2 5 (Safety): demonstrate moving safely and sensitively in various
environments; e.g., modified
games.
Students will:
1. Explain knowledge of fair play.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of game etiquette while waiting for their turn.
3. Create games using manipulatives with classmates.

Zumba warm up on go noodle.


Grab your pencil for the gym. In your groups of 4, you
will be creating a new game or a different version of a
game we already play. You need to pick a scribe
(someone to write down the game)
Body
Find a space in the gym to work on your game creation.
If you need to go into the equipment room you must
ask me to accompany your team. If you need help,
think of our scooter sizzle game, how could you change
that to make it a different game? You can also try to
make a different version of tag.
