Drafts one or several isocentric plans, as required with emphasis on quality of dose
distribution, using dosimetric knowledge and often creativity
Meticulously computes dose distributions and generates isodose curves in accordance to
departmental practices to deliver a prescribed dose to a defined target volume
Possesses knowledge of age-specific care, including changes associated with aging in
relevance to treatments
Methodically coordinates patient treatment planning parameters and reviews completion of
patient charts for correctness and accuracy
Assisted and observed in QA procedures with regard to therapy equipment, such as output
checks, energy checks, flatness, and symmetry
Performs TLD exposures
Participates in weekly peer review
