INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
The plan should guide the LEAs use of education technology for the next three years.

List detailed start and end dates (7/1/15 to 6/30/18). Offer a succinct overview of the
LEA, its location and demographics and/or share a link to the LEAs website.
Nemo Schools, a direct sponsored public school, is located in 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney, and will
have roughly 345 students their first year and will increase by 150 students every year until the
end of this tech plan. Nearly 67% of the students get free lunch. The schools accomplishment is
constructed upon the following scholastic strategies: PBL, e- portfolios, interdisciplinary
teaching, block schedules, early college initiatives and projects, and extensive teacher
collaboration.

Define how a range of stakeholders from within the LEA and the community-at-large
participated in the planning process.
The Technology Committee oversees all facets of technology use in Nemo Schools and
offers the leadership and vision as well as the revenue of meeting the objectives present
in the Technology Plan. We create corporations and partnership among the local
community and spread further to the numerous industries and institutions that can
empower the school to take an advanced approach with a commitment to technology use.
The technology Committee meets yearly; however, representatives from this committee
serve as links to other stakeholder groups that meet weekly to discuss program and
technology matters.
Summarize the suitable inquiry and refer to how it supports the strategies curricular and
professional development goals.
Condense the plans major curricular and professional development products that are
maintained by study.
Define and quote the related study that funds the plans results.
Define the link among the study and the plans objectives.

Designate data collected from site visits, including best performs.

Nemo Schools is dedicated to integrate technology into its current institute program.
Technology has played a massive part in the curriculum development and goals that will
be set by the administrative and staff members. Educators will work with the Technology
Committee to make sure that technology will be included to enhance, learning and
students achievements in all program.
The learner computer ratio is 3:1. Funding will be allotted per year to touch the ratio of
2:1, and donations will be pursued to drop the level to as close to 1:1 as probable.
Educators will have access to projectors, document cameras, electronic mails to connect
frequently and exploit a network folder configuration to exchange files. Students have
distinct user accounts and a web folder where they save all their work and share files with
staff members.
The technology classes will be open for learners use with professional supervision before
and after school for an hour a day. Students will have supplementary contact to the
technology labs before school Fridays during teachers in-service time (2 hours). The
technology labs are also used for parent digital classes in the evening during the semester.
All equipment is used during summer school, special computer classes as well.
CURRICULUM COMPONENT CRITERIA.
The Plan must launch clear objectives and genuine approach for using communications and
information technology to improve education services.

Describe teachers' existing access to instructional technology and present use of

electronic devices.
Core course teachers have chrome book sets (25) in their classroom to assist students in
completing their online assignments.
Moreover, five computer labs empower staff to use the equipment in our academic
surroundings.
All teachers use a computer daily, for attendance, grading and lesson plans and must be
completed on their computers using database program.
Describe students' current access to instructional technology and current use of digital
tools. Include a description about the LEA policy, practices, and/or replacement policy
that ensures equitable technology access for all students.
Students presently use the computer labs in daily basis. At this time, students use of

technological devices changes between 90 percent at least once a week, and 70 percent 3
and 5 times a week.
Students can use the internet to research matters. Office programs exist to prepare
presentations. For instance, in a 11th grade social study class might create a short film
with regard to Civil War and then generate a flier to endorse their film. As part of our
regular Project Based Learning, students are required to create websites to present their
own project. The products include digital presentation, color posters fashioned with
Microsoft Photoshop.
Define objectives and an implementation plan, with yearly accomplishments, for using
technology to improve teaching and learning. Describe how these goals align to the
LEA's curricular goals that are supported by other plans. Describe how the LEA's budget
(LCAP) supports these goals, and whether future funding proposals or partnerships may
be needed for successful implementation.
Giving to Nemo Schools vision and mission statements as well as our Local Education
Agency Plan, incorporating the course and making learning pertinent to and significant
for all students at School of Science and Technology linking curricular aims. In that
sense, School of Science and Technology accepted a project base learning strategy to
curriculum and instruction. Products and outcomes are measured and evaluated in
writing, speaking, and through digital media, the language of their generation, instead of
just multiple choice tests. Each year student must create an E-Portfolio of a project, either
from science or mathematics.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, to address Internet
Safety and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the classroom.
For now School of Science and Technology does address internet safety and the
appropriate and ethical use of technology. We are currently addressing this matter and are
ready to implement an ethical use policy that will begin June, 2015. The commission has
established procedures enable our teachers to instill plagiarism of the literacy starting in
9th grade, particularly in the perspective of research and ongoing in all content classes in
the high school. The parent/student handbook unequivocally explains policies with regard
to the significances of plagiarism. Students will be coached on the importance and the
dishonorable nature of using the works of others without approval.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT

The Plan must have a professional development strategy to ensure that staff understands
how to use these new technologies to improve education services

Define aims and an implementation plan, with yearly events, for offering professional
development chances based on your LEA needs evaluation data and the Curriculum
Component of the plan.

Ongoing evaluation of professional development opportunities will support

trainers and chief teachers in observing and modifying better to meet the technology
plans aims.

Technology Proficiency progress will be examined by data delivered by the CTAP

online assessment and School of Science and Technology Staff Survey. This data will be
assessed annually to monitor design of prospective training preferences.

Yearly analysis of growth toward aims and intentions will permit the Technology
staff and the Technology Committee the chance to monitor and amend executed plans.

Lastly, to analyze the influence of professional development on educator

approaches and classroom strategies, a Technology Survey will be conducted and
assessed.
INFRASTRUCTURE, HARDWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE, AND ASSET
MANAGEMENT COMPONENT CRITERIA
The Plan must include an assessment of the telecommunication services, hardware,
software, asset management, and other services that will be needed to improve education
services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Define the present hardware, Internet access, electronic learning means, technical
provision, and asset management already in the LEA that will be used to support the
Curriculum and Professional Development Components of the plan.
Nemo Schools has devoted in technology to guarantee the optimal operation of its
resources. As a result, below is a list of existing obtainable hardware:

PCs for Students Laptops: 212; Laptops for Teachers: 28 ; PCs for Administrative Staff:
15; Routers 2; Switches 5; Projectors: 40; Digital cameras: 5; Video cameras: 5;
Document cameras: 25; Network Copiers 3
Define the technology hardware, electronic learning resources, networking and
telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant modifications, technical support, and
asset management needed by the LEA's teachers, students, and administrators to support
the activities in the Curriculum and Professional Development components of the plan.
Even though School of Science and Technology presently holds sufficient equipment levels,
the school will remain to check and increase its present student-to-computer ratio. For this to
occur, School of Science and Technology will enthusiastically look for methods to supply and
raises it hardware levels.
In the sense of network infrastructure, School of Science and Technology will remain to
modernize and magnify its wireless coverage and hard-wired network. Wiring enlargements
are ongoing and aptitude construction for back-office infrastructure, such as servers and file
storage, stay to be a main concern.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMPONENT
The plan must contain an assessment process that allows the school to monitor progress
toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in comeback to new
developments and occasions as they arise.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Designate the procedure for assessing the plan's overall progress and effect on teaching
and learning.
The Technology Committee will conduct data analysis, the communication amid clusters and the
application of fluctuations as a consequence of the scrutiny with the endorsement of the Board of
Directors.
Enduring pool of data and the use of that data to notify administrative are rooted into each plan
section.
Hardware criterions will be revised and reviewed on a three-monthly basis by the Technology
Committee.

Designate the agenda for assessing the influence of plan application, including a narrative
of the progression and occurrence of cooperating assessment outcomes to tech plan
