De direccin: Con un verbo de movimiento +
to / into (=a / hacia). To go, walk, run into =
entrar, entrar caminando, entrar corriendo).
I go to school by foot. (Voy al colegio a pi.)
We went into the classroom a little late. (Entramos
en el aula un poco tarde.)
The dog ran into the room. El perro entr corriendo
en la habitacin.
CD + to CI (= a + CI)
He gave a kiss to Mary (to her) on her cheek.
(Le di un beso a Mary en la mejilla.)
Remember: Not to use to if the CI goes right
after the verb:
He gave Mary a kiss.
I helped my friend with his/her homework.
He told me that he would be late. = Me dijo
que vendra tarde.
Excepcin: He said to me that he would be
late. = Me dijo que vendra tarde.

Cuando queremos decir ir a hacer algo, en
ingls se unen las dos actividades con and:
I need to go and buy some clothing. (Necesito ir
a comprar ropa.)
Im going to the library and study. (Voy a ir a la
biblioteca a estudiar.)
Ir a hacer una actividad deportiva.
I usually go running in the evening. Usualmente
voy a correr por las tardes.

My mom wants me to go back home early.
My mom wants me not to go back home late.
