To Whom It May Concern:

It has been my pleasure these past few semesters to work with a student who I believe will be a
wonderful teacher in any school system. I teach the last Masters course, Learning Environment
and Professionalism for the Masters with Certification students. I also coordinate the student
teacher and intern programs.
Yumna Dadabhoy has truly impressed me with her love of learning and her passion for the
education profession. She has a true desire to help students become life-long learners. Her
classroom will be filled with hands-on relevant material to help her students discover their own
strengths. Mrs. Dadabhoy is a dedicated professional who wants to make a difference in the
lives of children. As a planner and organizer, she did well in my classroom and in every team
learning situation was an active participant with good ideas to contribute.
Currently Yumna is student teaching at Bettye Haun Elementary in Plano ISD. After a
successful experience in developing and teaching her own lessons and partnering with an
experienced cooperating teacher, she is ready to seek her first teaching assignment. Her SMU
supervisor states that she is organized, energetic, and full of creative ideas for her own
classroom. She does have a passion for education.
I definitely see her bringing excitement and energy to any school. Being a team player will help
her partner with other teachers to find the best for the students. Her dedication in becoming the
best teacher she can possibly be truly is a gift that I see. I highly recommend you consider
Yumna for a position at your school. If you seek further information, I can be reached at 972965-5705 or nhroberts@smu.edu.
