In the name of Allah SWT, the Almighty and the Most Merciful, I would like to thank
you for giving me the strength to complete this research proposal. This proposal will not be
completed successfully without the help and support from many people.
First of all, my sincere thanks and appreciation goes to my supervisor, Puan Nur
Aisyah @ N Zakariah for her brilliant ideas, criticisms, guidance, and patience during the
period of writing this research proposal. She has successfully guided me through some
stressful times and was always willing to sharpen my understanding of this research and
other academic writings. It is a great privilege to work under her supervision because she
has professional expertise in this field and also provided many constructive comments and
vision of where it is a major contribution in focusing my thoughts and ideas to finish this
research proposal. I am also deeply indebted to the lecturer who teaches for the subject
Hospitality Research Methods (HTM606), Dr. Azila for her valuable insights, comments,
ideas, and suggestions on the way to enhance and complement this proposal. I want to
thank to other lecturer and staff on a wide range of help and encouragement given to me
during my studies.
Finally and the most important, I would like to extend my gratitude and affection to
my beloved father and mother, Kamaruzaman Bin Mohd Ariffin and Mastura Binti Fadzil, who
played a key role in this achievement. Thank you for providing me with overwhelming
patience, support, love, encouragement, and inspiration that has greatly facilitated the
completion of this challenging work. My biggest pleasure is to share this time with both of my
parents. The same goes with my siblings who never cease to motivate and support and
