I've had the pleasure of knowing Kaylee for the past 2 years. During this time she has impressed myself and our whole team here at Dust Bow! with her strong work ethic, dependability and professionalism. Kaylee’s work ethic became clear to me when she began working for us with no experience in the restaurant business. We are blessed to be a busy location but this makes it a challenge for someone new to learn. This didn’t intimidate Kaylee, she just put her head down and worked hard while always having a smile on her face for our customers. She started out as a hostess moved to a server, then bartender and now on many nights she is the person in charge of our restaurant. She is a team player who our servers and cooks respect and want to work with and accept direction from. Her degree in Nursing from California State University Stanislaus was earned while also holding part-time jobs related to her field of nursing and working for us. This accomplishment speaks to her ability to manage her time and be organized. She always arrived to work ready to do her job, there are no excuses for upcoming exams or being too tired. Her game face is always on even when we knew she had to be exhausted from all of her academic commitments. Kaylee has the ability to work with a disgruntled customer, a person who has had too much to drink or just a large unruly party with ease. Her smile and interpersonal skills allow her to appease and deescalate any situation that might arise. Our customers are always happy to see Kaylee because they know the quality of service she provides. Kaylee has the skills necessary to be successful at any job that requires patience, communication, attention to detall, organization and hard work.
