This week I have been focusing on getting the rhythm in "Elegie" precise. I have isolated the chords and memorized the order they come in. I still find the chords challenging but it will take some time to incorporate them fully.

This week I have been focussing on getting the rhythm in Elegie precise and
playing the chords more fluently and with no hesitation.
I used a metronome at a slightly slower speed (60 instead of 70) and focussed on each bar separately, focussing on the rhythm of the triplets. I isolated the chords and memorized them and the order they come in to stop me from hesitating before playing them. I find the rhythm in Elegie particularly challenging because I have been playing some sections wrong for a few weeks. I still find the chords challenging but it will take some time to be able to incorporate them fully into the piece. I have been playing Elegie by Delius this week and am now clearer on the rhythm, I still need improve the tone quality when I play the chords however. Each session I have: -Used a metronome -Isolated chords -Played bars one at a time -Reviewed my bowing to incorporate double stopping without gaps
