Follow-up Questions
1.

Based on the checklist what kind of rating would you give the center in terms
of the opportunities provided for family involvement? (Excellent, good, fair, some
improvements needed, much improvement needed) Explain your answer.

This program rating is Good, the program meets the requirements in part, but
many of the points accomplish informally and must be providing in a formal way
to be completely professional. The environment in general is the cordiality;
parents and kids are welcoming to the program. Director uses informal
communication maybe for the quantity of parents that she must tray. Therefore, if
the program will have more families the system of communications must change.

2. What do you feel are the centers schools strengths in terms of getting
families involved? Be specific.

The director communication with parents is so good because the

environment is the total cordiality. Parents all time are informed
about

kids

activities

and

progress.

Many

activities

are

programmed to involving parents participation in diverse ways.

Children share these activities with their parents because they
are programmed with anteriority and for it parents can obtain
permits in their work to assist and collaborate with the activity.

3. What improvements or suggestions would you give the center in obtain more
family involvement? Be specific.

I consider that the program can create or use a web page that
can access all parents to be informed about general activities to
realize, send specific information for each child, and digitalize the
community interest information. Parents can be more confident
with the director to make comments or get information and
helping in their concerns.
