AMCI. We were assigned in the Assay Department where dry and wet analyses are
done. In dry assaying, we have learned the classical fire assaying method,
determination of bulk density via specific gravity technique and verification of
required sample size through mesh-of-grind analysis. Acid digestion and atomic
absorption spectroscopy were taught to us in the wet assay section where we have
spent most of our time. The vigorous trainings that we have received from this
company enable us to gain a working experience which improved our skills in an
actual job environment and expand our knowledge in the field of chemical
engineering. Despite all the challenging and exhausting tasks, we were still able to
manage our work with the help of our supervisors who willingly shared their
knowledge, passion and wisdom. With all this, we can truly say that our experience
was beyond our expectation.
