You are sitting here in the classroom and it took that light about 10 nanoseconds to reach you and

in return, for you

to realize that light has reach you it took about 200 milliseconds, congratulations you are 20 million times slower
than speed of light.
As you can see, speed of light is so fast that it precise our immediate possession, so how did people measures, more
specifically how people in the past be sure that they got close to the real question?
During Galileos time, many believed that speed of light is infinite, in fact that is the reason why they cant believe
that, Galileo being Galileo disagreed, he tried an experiment . He found that speed of light is at least 10 times
greater than speed of sound or 3.4 km/s. Literally they know, they made a symmetrical reaction time in the speed of
their arm. Galileo had less success in measuring speed of light.
During the 1670s, inspired by Galileos discovering of Jupiters moon and his beliefs about the speed of light, Ole
Roemer made another experiment to measure speed of light . Whatever his experiment implied that speed of
light was about 300,000 km/s
In France, 1849, Hippolyte Louis Fizeau, produce another measurement of speed of light, Fizeau shone to a rapid
rotating tooth that we owe to the mirror 5 miles away
