Seven Effects need to know!

1 herb 1 effect, not normal to have only 1 ingredient
ginseng, he shou wu (poluygoni, multiflori blackens hair);
dang gui (angelicae); huang qi (astragulu-enhance
performance)
2 or more herbs to increase the action of function of herbs,
neurological, relaxation, etc. Same goal.
Synergistic. Similar to m accentuation, 2 or more herbs, one
acts as principle, reinforce principle herb, and have another
function other value
1 herb reduces side effects or toxicity of another herb,
neutralizes toxicity of other herb. Ginger neutralizes toxicity of
other herbs.
Very similar to m counteraction, suppresses the harsh aspect
of an herb. Strong herbs, extraordinarily cold, suppress the
cold to use the value, soften the harsh value.
When you use 2+ herbs and they antagonize each other that
wouldnt normally happen Page XIX /XX. Make a negative
effect vs positive outcome. Dont mix the herbs that dont get
along. 19
18 of them page XX when you use the two a toxicity or side
effect will happen; dont want to you use them together. Dont
mix herbs! Negative outcome, undesired!
