evaluating, and posting

LearningActivities(Content): LearningActivities(Technology):
Satellite Circle Activity:
Students will begin the activity by writing
down on a list of paper, someone they
admire and respect. They will create no
less than six satellite circles, branching off
from the center circle. The individual, in
the center circle, should be a boss,
supervisor, teacher, coach, or mentor. They
will then identify what it was about the
individual that they admired/respected the
most. Students will be encouraged to think
about the qualities, traits, disposition, and
demeanor of their selected individual.

Students will use online literature journals/databases

to search for ideas; potential resources, and/or
examples to to support their claims

Students will then quickly, on a separate

piece of paper, brainstorm a list of qualities,
traits, attributes, and competencies that they
believe a military leader should embody.

Students will use current examples of command

philosophies to model their work after. Students will
emulate what they see from current commanders.
