playing with instruments.
3. R- Share and play with other children. Sharing and playing with other children at the pet

to learn her letters. Point out the letter A around the classroom.
6. E- Help her feel comfortable with the other children. With teachers assistance, have her
play with the other children in dramatic play, blocks or in the library.
Pre-assessment and Findings:
U loves dancing to music, he dances at his house to the "Elsa song"
B & R both love dancing, when asked if they liked to dance they immediately both
started dancing together.
G and I played together shaking the maracas
B, U & C played the drums, tambourines & maracas
J has a piano at home and his mom teaches piano lessons (maybe why he doesnt enjoy
music as much as other kids)
The children just loved the musical instruments, and always love singing and dancing!
G enjoyed playing the piano and hearing the different tones of the black and white
keys.
S, J, and J said that some music is loud. It was a little loud but they like music.
O, M, L, B, U, and E loved to play on the piano and make music.
J doesnt like the sound of music and will go outside.
G liked the drums and also playing with the other children using the instruments.
We could have some of these instruments in the classroom throughout the week. We can
have drums, maracas, piano, guitar, or anything else that you can think of.

2. Some instruments are played by shaking them or hitting them together.

WORDS TO SONGS & FINGERPLAYS:
When I was one, I just begun,
Were going over, going under,
Over the deep blue sea.
Standing attention,
I jumped aboard a pirate ship
Like a soldier.
And the Captain said to me:
With the one, two, three.
Were going over, going under,
Standing attention,
When I was three, I skid my knee,
Like a soldier.
Over the deep blue sea.
With the one, two, three.
I jumped aboard a pirate ship
And the Captain said to me:
When I was two, I lost my shoe,
Were going over, going under,
Over the deep blue sea.
Standing attention,
I jumped aboard a pirate ship
Like a soldier.
And the Captain said to me:
With the one, two, three.
