elective class.
Theory: Personal safety, safety strategies and decision-making, discrimination,
harassment and vilification, racism in sport, the coward punch, the ice
epidemic, sports motivation and nutrition.
Practical: Striking and fielding games, fitness options, Summer Games; touch
football, Oz-tag and volleyball and a modified games unit.
Experiences: Facilitated the Year 11 Crossroads course day. Participated in
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) professional development seminar.
Attended and managed a girls cricket excursion. Taught a 100-hour Games for
Girls elective class and developed a practical assessment task for this class.
Marked year 9 Drugs and year 7 Healthy Lifestyle assessment tasks. Assisted
with the organisation and management of school sport. Conducted swimming
lessons for a small group of students at the pool.

water. Work with children aged from 2-12 years old, with some students having
intellectual disabilities and hearing ailments. Responsible for positively
