Course Description:
This course is designed for future Mathematic Educators on a
1000 level (usually sophomores) in college. This course will cover
natural logarithm, derivatives, exponential function, hyperbolic angle,
hyperbolic function, Stirlings approximation, and Bernoulli numbers.
Student Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
Know how to solve any graphing problem using the equations will
go over throughout the course.
Clearly explain and demonstrate how to solve these graphing
problems with the given equations.
Solve graphing and any function we discuss in class, with
calculator and without.
Attendance:
Students will only be allowed 3 UNEXCUSED absences and 3 EXCUSED
absences before it affects the grade. After the students have surpassed
these absences, a letter grade will drop for every missed class after
that.
