Project #2: GetKahoot.com

For this project you will use technology tools for assessing and
providing students with immediate feedback on learning outcomes.
Steps:
1. Begin by creating three objectives from your content area that are
measureable.
2. Come up with 2 test items for each objective, provide correct
responses for those items, and feedback that you would provide your
students for incorrect responses.
3. Use kahoot to create your assessment. The website is
getkahoot.com. You will need to create a username and password.
The student website is kahoot.it.
4. Once you have created your quiz, you will click on My Kahoots at the
top of the page, then click on your quiz and copy the URL address at
the top of this page.
5. Upload this template to Edmodo Project #2.

I really enjoyed using Kahoot. I believe it really engages the students
and allows for them to learn while having fun. It provides immediate
feedback and instigates a spirit of competiveness within the students,
that I feel will engage even the most unmotivated student. This would
definitely be something I would use within my future teaching, its a
great way to review for a test or quiz. I dont feel I would use it every
day or maybe even every week, but it is a nice treat once in a while. I
love how this incorporates technology into a fun lesson plan, and
allows for the students to use their cellphones for educational
purposes. All in all, I think this is a great resource for any classroom,
and will definitely be utilized in mine.
