Around the World in 80 Days

Tahlequah Community Playhouse is set to bring stampeding elephants and raging typhoons to
Tahlequah.
TCP will present Around the World in 80 Days. Adapted by Mark Brown from the Jules Verne
novel, this play follows the fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg and his loyal servant Passepartout.
Fogg agrees to a shocking wager, setting him and his servant on a journey to circle the world in
80 days. Audience members will join in on their dangerous, romantic and comedic adventure.
Being involved with TCP is a great way to meet members of the community, said Jenifer
Rogers, social committee co-chair. Its a little bit of magic to see words on a page come to life
on stage.
Tickets may be purchased for dinner and the show for $25. Ticket may also be purchased for
only the performance for $15. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:30
p.m. Nov. 13-14 and Nov. 20-21. Dinner will begin at 1 p.m. with the show beginning at 2 p.m.
Nov. 15 and Nov. 22. All shows will take place at the Armory Municipal Building at 100 N.
