What worked well?

Questions and Considerations

The power point of the language

techniques was very informative and
presented well.
The clip of the speech was a great
example of how powerful persuasive
techniques can be.
Putting the students into groups was
a great idea. The ones working with
you on the floor would have benefited
from the intensive assistance you
were giving them.
You worked very well with the class to
ensure all the students are working at
their ability level therefore
demonstrating excellent skills in your
ability to differentiate.

Would a copy of the ppt distributed to the

students helped them in their understanding?
A more in depth discussion on the techniques
used in the video may have provided the
students with examples of how these
techniques can be used in real life situations.
It may have been a great idea to make the
students more accountable for their level of
knowledge of language techniques. Get them
to show you evidence of how many
techniques they were comfortable with, not
just tell you.
