AISB PSA and Student Councils

AISB has supported the Miklos, Bolyai and Brezno Childrens Homes for
several years. This year, once again, we are organizing
The Giving Tree. The children of these homes have made a wish list of items
they would like to receive for Christmas. Also, the caregivers have made
lists of the homes basic needs. These items will be written on Wish Cards
and hung on our Giving Trees in the lobbies of Buildings A & B from
November 19th until November 25th.
In the Elementary lobby in Building A, students may visit
The Giving Tree, choose a Wish Card and record the number with the
Student Council member in attendance. The students should then take the
Wish Card home and purchase the gift. All gifts should be wrapped. The
Wish Card with the childs name and gift number should be attached to
the outside of the wrapped gift. Please hand in all gifts to The Giving Tree
Student Council members.
In the Middle/High School lobby in Building B, students may visit
The Giving Tree and choose a Wish Card. Gifts should have the Wish Card
attached, be wrapped when appropriate (general items should not be
wrapped but gifts for individual children should be wrapped) and returned
to The Giving Tree collection point in Building B.
All Wish Cards containing donations should be returned to Peter Deak in
Building B reception.

Suggested gift amount: 5,000 HUF

ALL GIFTS SHOULD BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL BY
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30th

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Multi-Age 2nd Grade
When selecting a Wish Card from The Giving Tree, a parent should
accompany Multiage, Kindergarten, First and Second grade students. The
Wish Cards will have the name of a child from one of the Childrens Homes
written on it. It will also give the age of the child and suggestions for gifts.
Parents may visit The Giving Tree before or after school.

3rd 5th Grade

Third through Fifth grade students are allowed to visit
The Giving Tree before or after school without adult accompaniment.
However, we encourage you, as parents, to discuss the significance of
The Giving Tree with your 3rd 5th graders and give helpful advice about
appropriately choosing a Wish Card.

6th 12th Grade

Sixth through Twelfth grade students may visit The Giving Tree throughout
the school day.

GIVING TREE HOURS

A member of the Student Council will be at the Building A Giving Tree at the
following times:

8:00 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 4:00 p.m.

Iskolnk az elmlt vek sorn tmogatta a Mikls, Blyai s Brezno

gyermekotthonokat. Idn ismt megszervezzk az Ajndkft. A fent
emltett otthonok gyermekei ksztettek kvnsglistt, hogy milyen
ajndkokat szeretnnek karcsonyra. Ezen fell gondozik ksztettek egy
listt az otthonok alapvet szgsgleteirl. Ezek a kvnsgok krtykra
felrva lesznek felakasztva az Ajndkfkra, melyeket a kt plet halljban
tallhatnak meg November 19. s 25. kztt.
Az A pletben a gyerekek kivlaszthatnak egy krtyt s
regisztrltathatja a jelen lv diknkormnyzatos tanulval. A krtya
hazavitele utn az ajndkot meg kell venni s be kell csomagolni. A krtyt
a csomagolson kvlre, jl lthatan kell felragasztani, majd a jelenlv
diknkormnyzati kpviselnek odaadni.
A B pletben is a fent emltett mdon kell eljrni, annyi klnbsggel,
hogy az intzmnyek szmra szksges elltmnyokat nem kell
becsomagolni, illetve az ajndkokat Dek Pternek (a B plet
recepcisa) kell leadni.
