Armenias chess men's and women's teams triumphed in

the first round of the European Team Chess Championship

Armenias chess men's and women's teams started the first round of the European Team Chess Championship with
victory. The mens team headed by Levon Aronyan won all matches scoring Icelands team 4:0. Our women players
also gained victory in round 1 when Elina Danielyan won the 1st match and then continued in draw. In round 2 of the
European Team Chess Championship our mens team will play with France and the women with Russia.
