United States are not creating immigration policies that could benefit instead they are turning
them away by not giving them the chance to a better life.
I.
Introduction
In the United States, the rise in ethnic diversity due to immigration in recent decades has
greatly increased. Looking back in the beginning of America that helped it become known to be
the Great Power, it was with the help of immigrants such as Irish, Chinese, Japanese, Hispanics,
and much more. They poured their sweats into the making of railways, factories, and kept
producing of military equipments during the wars while the American men fought. They helped
stabilized and met the demands, though today you do not hear a single thing about any other
ethnicity other than hispanics. United States are not creating immigration policies that could
benefit instead they are turning them away by not giving them the chance to a better life.

II.
Body paragraph Topic #1: The government turns their backs to the cries of need and
media helped set racial discrimination towards people that have the description of an hispanic
immigrant.
a. Recent political activities related to Mexican immigration to the USA, including
the rise of the Minutemen border vigilante group, the crackdown against undocumented
immigrants and the negative depiction of Mexican immigrants in the US media, may lead
to an increase in the perception of discrimination against Mexican immigrants in the USA
(Becerra, 21).
b. Hispanics or Latinos often experience ethnic discrimination because of how the
media and policymakers portrays them.
c. There were multiple unreported incidences where U.S. citizens were asked for
verification based purely on their skin tone or conversing in Spanish in public places
(Brezenski, 27).
d. Transition sentence: Not only does media manipulate the views on an immigrant,
many Americans believe that immigrants are stealing American jobs.
III.
Body paragraph Topic #2: There has been a claim that immigrants are taking the jobs
from the civilians, but in reality immigrants are suffering as well to gain a job since sometimes
places require identification papers.
a. It is no secret that the rejection of former President Bushs immigrant amnesty
measure that was killed in the U.S. Senate in 2007 was representative of a backlash
against Hispanic migrant farm workers who were viewed erroneously as stealing jobs
from U.S. citizens. (Brezenski, 26).
b. As the legislative debate over immigration reform heats up, large-scale of
America benefits from immigrants from industries to agricultural labors.
c. Transition sentence: Most people should know that immigrants are a necessity in
America to meet demands, but instead they make them fear for their lives because of fear
of deportation.
IV.
Body Paragraph Topic #3: There are programs for providing coverage for health care and
access to federal benefits from the government for low-income families, but hispanic immigrants
do not perceive it because of the fear of deportation.
