Hometown: I grew up in Charlotte, NC
Degree: I earned a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Houston
May of 2006. I earned a master's in education from the University of Houston in
August of 2007.
Hobbies: My hobbies include reading, biking, kayaking, and playing with my
grandchildren.
Family Info: I have been married to Alan Teague since 1982. We raised 4
wonderful children, 2 boys and 2 girls, one of which is a MCHS algebra teacher. We
have 1 granddaughter and 2 grandsons.
Reasons why I became an educator: I love being around children. They make me
feel young, exuberant, and alive. Nothing is more gratifying that being around
young people and feeding their hunger to learn!

Ashley Hoffman has her Bachelor of Science in education from University of Houston

Hobbies: I love to enjoy the company of my husband and 2 month old daughter,
along with our family and friends. In our free time, we enjoy time at our family
ranch with our dogs.
Family Info:We have a 2 year old daughter and are expecting our second child in
Feb. 2016.
Reasons why I became an educator: I have a great passion for helping children learn
and expand their knowledge. Every day is a new day of learning for both my
students and I. I can't imagine my days without the enrichment that the students
bring to my life. I enjoy the company of my students.

Natacha Isaac-Bonaventure will have her Masters in Educational Leadership from

Family Info: I am married to my wonderful husband Ralph Bonaventure for
23 years and we have a wonderful daughter, Bianca Bonaventure who is 20
years old. She is attends Texas State University. We have a sweet Shit zu
named Bello who we love very much!
Reason Why I Became an Educator: I always knew that I wanted to be a
teacher since I was a little girl. I am a passionate lifelong learner. Teaching
affords me the opportunity to share my knowledge and learn
simultaneously!

iStation & Think Through Math Home Access

Texas SUCCESS provides state-funded access to interactive
math and reading programs for Texas public school students.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has selected Think Through
Math as the Texas SUCCESS math provider and Istation
Reading as the Texas SUCCESS reading provider. Thanks to
Texas SUCCESS, students will now have free access to both
programs from home.
Think Through Math and Istation Reading both provide
students with computer-adaptive instruction that adjusts to
their unique skill level. Think Through Math provides students
with meaningful practice; motivational tools; and access to
live, state-credentialed teachers. Istation Reading maximizes
students' reading fluency, comprehension, and retention.
While Think Through Math is a web based program and may
be accessed from any computer that meets the technical
requirements, Istation is computer-based, and may only be
accessed from home once parents download the Istation
software. Guidance for accessing the programs may be found
below.
Texas SUCCESS programs are provided by the state as
supplemental resources, and they are not intended to replace
core instructional resources or existing intervention programs.
Katy ISD will continue to provide teachers with a wealth of
appropriate instructional resources to support instruction
during the school day. As always, teachers and administrators
will work collaboratively to ensure that students have access
to the resources and instructional settings that best meet their
needs.
