It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Karen Sloan. I have

known Karen for the last year, first as an intern and then a resident student
from TAMU-Commerce. During this time, I have seen great accomplishments
and growth in Karen. She possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality.
She is always ready with a smile and kind word. Karen has a wonderful
rapport with her students and peers. She has a great ability to connect with
all students. I have observed excellent lesson plans with great classroom
management. She is very knowledgeable with technology and uses it to
enhance her lessons. She is very familiar with the Promethean Board, Elmo,
and use of the internet for enrichment of her lessons. She is able to create a
student-centered classroom where learning takes place.
I believe she will continue to grow and become an even more effective
teacher as time goes by. I am confident Mrs. Sloan will be an asset to any
staff and will always give 100 percent.
Therefore, it is without reservation that I highly recommend Mrs. Sloan for
any teaching position available.
