the specifics or details about it. It also includes the
human characteristics and physical characteristics
of a place. Places tells us what its like. It helps us
understand what the place is like. For example, like what
kind of place it is or like what the color and design of the
house is. It also tells us what the place look like from
human and physical characteristics.
Human Characteristics is about culture and traditions. In
different places, people have different characteristics and
cultures. So, for example, the religions in Indonesia or like
the traditional events in Java and Bali. Different places
have different cultures and traditions. So for example, Bali
have nyepi event every year and for a day they cant go
out of their house. Traditions and culture can be about the
daily activities the natives do every day or year. These
differences is what makes a place different and unique.

Physical Characteristics is usually about the

weather/climate and what it looks like. For example, in
Jakarta, the highest temperature is in October and the
lowest temperature is in January and February. For
precipitation, it can be like, the highest precipitation in
Jakarta is in January which is 335mm and the lowest
precipitation in Jakarta is in August which is 50 mm. It can
also be about how big a place is or if the place have any
landforms or it could also be if the place have any
mountains. One of the themes of geography, which is
places, helps us understand what and how the place looks
like from its characteristics. I discovered that geographers
and people use these characteristics to understand what a
place looks like from its characteristics.
