ANLISIS ESPACIAL Y TEMPORAL DE LA ACCIDENTALIDAD VIAL EN TUNJA

Resumen
Los accidentes de trnsito son un problema de salud pblica mundial. En Colombia y
especialmente en Tunja, ocurre un elevado nmero de siniestros viales. En este artculo,
se revisa la mortalidad, morbilidad y se identifica zonas de alto riesgo; el objetivo principal
del proyecto fue sistematizar y actualizar una base de datos sobre accidentalidad vial
entre los aos 2008 a 2014 con base en los registros de informes de accidentes de
trnsito de la Secretara de Trnsito y Transporte de Tunja; estudio de tipo cuantitativo en
el que realiz la clasificacin anual con base en el tipo de accidente, su gravedad, hora
del da, gnero de las vctimas, entre otras variables, Se analiz un total de 6.221
accidentes de trnsito de los cuales, 4.027 representan solo daos materiales, 1.980
heridos y 34 accidentes presentan vctimas mortales, de lo cual en 2008 inicio con 1018
accidentes y termino en 2014 con un total de 642 entre daos materiales, heridos y
muertos.

SPATIAL AND TEMPORARY TUNJAS ROADS ACCIDENTS ANALYSIS
Traffic accidents are a global public health issue. In Colombia, specially in Tunja city, there
are an elevated number of road claims that occur. In this article, mortality, morbidity and
high risk zones areas are identified, its principal objective was made a systematize and
update database of road accidents between 2008 and 2014, based on Tunjas traffic and
transport secretariat traffic accident reports. It was a quantitative study that made using an
annual classification based in an accident types, their severity, date, time, victims genres,
also other variables. Totally it was analyzed 6.221 traffic accidents, which 4.027 just
represents a material damages, 1.980 represents injured people and only 34 traffic
accidents had fatalities. In 2008 that database begun had a 1018 accidents and finish in
2014 having 642 accidents, included a material damages, injured people and fatalities on
it. This study shows human factor shortcomings close to arise a 70% percent of
participation, at the same time the polices traffic accident reports irregularities, their
intervention and a legibility issues.
