Teacher: Yes, we keep hands

Teacher: Class I would like you
to turn to your elbow partner and
share with them what you think
some of our classroom rules

Student: I think it should say
lets be kind to one another.
Teacher: I think being kind is a
great rule to have. Anymore

Student: I think we should
apologize if we make a mistake.
Teacher: I think writing
forgiveness and apologizing would
be great rules to add.
Student: I think we should tell
each other good job!
Teacher: I think encouraging
each other is another great rule.
Lets start writing these down.
(Model writing down classroom
rules on the anchor chart).
(You Do)
Teacher: I would like each of you
to come up and sign the poster if
you support the rules the class has
come up with. But remember to be
respectful of each other and to use
body basics when lining up to
write your name on our poster.
Think we can do it?

Students: Yes we can!

Teacher: Great, lets begin!
