Human environment interac<on is one of the most important things in the 5 themes of
geography. It help geographers understand how people adapt, depend, and modify the
environment. Human environment interac<on tells us how we adapt to the
environment. For example the ancient Egyp<ans would make clay brick houses which
could work great against the heat. Ancient Egyp<ans had to adapt to the environment,
one of the ways they would do so is to grow vegetables that did not need much water.
Human environment interac<on also tells us how we depend on the environment.
Humans depend to the environment to get resources for example water, food, shelter,
clothing, etc. A one of the examples of depending on the environment is using water to
drink and clean up or using vegetables and fruits to make food. Another example is that
people use wood for making shelters. Human environment interac<on tells us how we
modify the environment. Humans modify the environment in posi<ve and nega<ve ways
to get what they want for daily life. For example people make changes to the land so
that crops could grow beQer, build buildings and houses. I think that Human
environment interac<on is one of the most important thing in the ve themes of
geography because I discovered that people interact with the environment for a very
long <me. In the future we all should remember human environment interac<on can be
in a posi<ve way but also nega<ve, so we have to remember to keep the human
environment interac<on as posi<ve as we can. We also have to remember that keeping
human environment interac<on in a posi<ve way will make a beQer lifestyle.
