speech. Also they have looked at positive and negative examples of speeches.

T plays the Emma Watson UN speech to the Ss


asking them to pay particular attention to the
positive and negative aspects of her speech. As well
as finding the purpose.
When Emmas speech has concluded, go through
the positive and the negative aspects of her speech
with the students.
Then go talk about the important quotes of Emma
Watsons speech. Explain its importance and
significance.
Ask Ss what is the purpose of Emmas speech and
why a purpose is so important.
Pose to the students the challenge to make a
change through their speech. To find a purpose and
ask for a call to action from the audience.
T refers back to the topics for voice of youth and
asks the students to brainstorm further ideas for
their speeches.
