    To repair the airbag coil on a Renault Megan II, remove four torx screws and the airbag connections, cut the old 51cm flex cable and solder a new one from a Citroen Xsara Picasso or Peugeot 307 with 7 wires. Put a small gear on the plastic circle, melt the plastic shaft for lubrication, and ensure the small holes on the circle cover each connection point, as shown in the example of twisting the coil in Picture 8.

    REPAIR AIRBAG COIL RENAULT MEGAN II

    Remove 4 torx screw


    Remove contacts for airbag conections
    Cut old flex cable ( 51 cm long )
    Solder new flex cable (example use Citroen Xsara
    Picaso or Peugeot 307 cable with 7 wire), see
    picture 1, 2, 3
    - Put small gear on plastic circle and witg solder
    top melt the plastic shaftthat turns out not and
    lubricate with with grease. (see picture 4, 5)
    - In picture 6 and 7 see small holes should be
    placed on her plastic circle to cover each hole
    - In picture 8 see example of twisting coil
