Dear all,

Many of you may already know that the fascist English Defence League (EDL) have called
a national demonstration in Bolton on 20 March, assembling at Midday.

These people must be stopped. We cannot allow a repeat of the EDL's horrific behaviour
in Stoke on Trent in January when they attacked Muslim people's homes, daubed racist
graffiti in the town and tried to attack a mosque. Neither can we allow a repeat of what
happened at the Tate Britain on the 1st Friday in March when EDL members were
allowed to come inside and intimidate our members. This is after they had been getting
tanked up outside and shouting anti-Muslim slogans.

But Bolton anti-racists cannot stop the EDL on their own. From Glasgow to Dover, anti-
fascist activists will be coming to join the counter demonstration. And we want you there
as well.

PCS is sponsoring a coach to take trade unionists from central London. The Coach will be
at York Way, outside Kings Cross main railway station, from 6am on Saturday 20 March.
It will leave promptly at 6:15am. Tickets are free for PCS members and £20 for anyone
else (ie family members, partners etc who are not PCS members). To book tickets,

I strongly encourage you to get to Bolton to stop the EDL.
