Today we will be the 3 levels of space: High, Medium, and low
Today we are in the Safari and we are going to imitate animals that live in the Safari, can
anyone name any animals that live in the safari?
For low Space we are going to be a snake first, and then a lion because both of those animals
stay low to the ground. Next, we are going to stay in medium space, so we are going to be
bears and get really wide like bears do. Next to reach our high level of space we are going to
be a kangaroo, can someone show me how kangaroos jump. You want to jump really high and
reach for the sky.
Can I get everyone to be the snake?
The lion?
The Bear?
The Kangaroo?
Good job todays boys and girls, next week we are going to see how well you remember your
levels of space.

Safety considerations:

Personal Space- The students need to learn personal space with their classmates because if
they are too close to one another they may get hurt or bump in to each other.
Staying Within Boundaries-The boundaries are a very crucial part to each lesson, especially
when we are in a tight room like the multi-purpose room. You want to have a safe
environment and keep the children as safe as possible, we are going to set up tape for our
boundaries within our groups and if we go outside we can use the cones because we will
have a lot more space to work with. In the introduction we will share with the class the
boundaries and rules.
Respecting Yourself and Others- Follow the golden rule Treat others how you want to be
treated, that goes for equipment and devices too.
Playing Safe- Safe play is the best play, you get to have fun and not have to worry about
being injured by someone or something.
