Norton Reader.

in multiple choice testing by completing AP MC items.

Do Now: Please read multiple choice handout and


prepare to respond to questions.

After discussing a handout that gives advice about


scoring high on the multiple choice exam, students will
read a selection from a released AP exam and answer the
questions associated with it.

(1B)Closing Activity: As a whole class, we will discuss
what we learned today and how we will use these skills
in the future.

TUESDAY
(1C) Learning Target: Students will show improved skills
in multiple choice testing by completing AP MC items.
Do Now: What percentage of these items do you feel
confident about? What percentage do you have serious
doubts about?

(1F)Embedded Formative Assessment: MC items


(1B)Closing Activity: As a whole class, we will discuss
what we learned today and how we will use these skills
in the future.

In table groups, students will offer their answers to the


MC items and debate the correct answers. Correct
answers will be provided by the instructor at the end of
class.

PSAT Testing no ordinary instruction

essay writing by completing an FRQ timed writing.
Do Now: Please take out materials and prepare for
an FRQ timed essay.

have prepared for todays discussion. Be ready to share
it with the class and explain why this particular question
is important to you and important for us to explore.
