Starter Who developed the Worldwide Web? and in what year?
Tim Berners-Lee is the inventor of the world wide web and on march 12th 1989 he wrote a proposal that he
would create the world wide web and later in December 1990 he finished his first website.
1. What is the WWW?
The WWW stands for World Wide Web which is a system with documents that are accessed by the internet.

2. How is the Internet different from the WWW?


The Internet is a massive network of networks which connects global computers together. The world wide web is
just transmitting data over the internet so the WWW job is to transfer the data over the internet while the
internet connects networks globally.
3. What does HTML stand for?
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language which is a way of tagging text files.
4. Name three example HTML tags and explain why they come in pairs.
<p> and </p> .
<body> and </body>.
<h1> and </h1>.
They come in pairs because the first tag is the start tag and the second is the end tag.
