2. My first article was about an emerging technology in classrooms. Its called
FreshGrade. This technology allows teachers to update grades with ease and create
a portfolio on each student. Doing so, it allows the student and the parent to be
continually updated on the childs progress. FreshGrade documents the students
learning experience throughout the whole year and it allows easier communication
between teacher, student, and parent. This technology hopes to show the parents if
their child has learned the material through the year, gained good social skills, and
if they have overcome any challenges theyve faced.

3. Keywords: FreshGrade
Search Engines: Google and Bing
Comparison:
When I searched for FreshGrade in both search engines, they brought up the same
results. The first result was the FreshGrade website followed by blogs, social media
accounts for FreshGrade, and the iTunes store for the app. Therefore, neither search
engine was better than the other.
4. Time: The article was written on August 15,2014. It has not been updated since
then.
Relevance: This article gives information on FreshGrade as well as a slight
background on one of the founders.
Authority: This article was written by Lora Kolodny. She is qualified to write on this
topic. She has her B.A. in English and she writes about technology for The Wall
Street Journal. She covers areas like early stage startups, innovation hubs like
accelerators, incubators or labs, and emerging industries like crowdfunding and
collaborative consumption.
Accuracy: I believe this information is trustworthy however I dont think it has been
tasted for accuracy and there is no evidence on this article to support the
information in it.
Purpose: This information was written to inform people on the new technology and
the material is objective.
5. Keywords: FreshGrade
Database: Points of View Reference Center
I chose this database because it was the easiest one for me to use and gave me the
most articles to choose from.

6. Both articles were easy to find and easy to read. However the internet article was
written in September while the database article was written in June. The database
article though may have more authority than an internet article. Also, the database
article offered more information on the topic.
