Managed operational and administrative duties by compiling monthly statistics and reports for
Assistant Director. Created and coordinated consistent outreach services to specific military and
local events. Provided services and assistance to students that walk in and call for admissions,
registration, financial aid, and student account information. Maintained an active presence with
the local military community by attending graduations, base functions and education activities
such as college fairs.
Computer Lab Administrator

Maintain upkeep of 79 computers to be sure all are in working order and all programs are
updated and connected to printers. Help students sign into computer lab to ensure accountability
of computer lab usage. Maintain supplies such as toners and paper and make sure students follow

the copy and print limit. Conduct routine maintenance such as virus protection and make sure all
programs are in working order following and power outages and/or surges. Help students when
they encounter any problems such as CAC cards that dont work or printing issues. Proofread
memos, reports and research papers when students need additional help. Communicate with IT
personnel regarding software problems or computers not working.
Counselor Support

Coordinate with education counselors to ensure that they have materials and supplies to conduct
briefings that they have schedules. Assist students with course enrollment and course withdrawal
procedures. Maintain current course schedules and college information such as catalogs,
pamphlets pertaining to all programs that are available at the Education Center and is available to
all students. Enroll students for NCO lead and BSEP/FAST courses. Give students DLPT and
DLAP scores. Enroll students for TABE test to help increase their GT score and discuss TABE
results do help areas such as reading, writing or math. Activate Go Army Ed accounts by helping
students choose a college and degree plan many of these account activations are done via email
due to the status that the student is deployed. Scan and laserfische statements of understandings,
degree plans, GI Bill information in students E-File on Go Army Ed. DLPT, DLAB, AFAST
scores are scanned into students files for easy reference for both the student and education
counselor. Provide guidance to students about evaluations, credit transfer from college to college
and military training and schools into college credit. Train new counselor support and substitutes
and perform quality control of all work done, report all info back to supervisor. Process and
maintain reports of monthly counseling and briefing attendance. Compiles and furnishes
information to Chief of Counseling. Responsible for front desk operation by answering telephone
inquiries, assist each soldiers to ensure he received the assistance needed from the correct
individual. Troubleshoot problems regarding registration, holds, drops/withdrawals and
Blackboard with students in person and via email.

Responsible for processing student applications in college database and enroll students in classes
for upcoming term. Maintained enrollment and course drop documents in students file.
Coordinated and administered College of Cosmetology and Barber School. Implementations of
the program required working knowledge of the course requirements and course availability.
Also coordinated and administered Aviation Program for incoming students. This required
knowledge of background check and course availability due to number of people in each class.
Received and processed requests for CID and FBI agents to process education verification letters
for government employment and/or background check information. Counseled students on
courses needed to complete degree and prerequisites needed for specific course and/or placement
test that may be required.
