Meeting Agenda: We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Lake Watch Inn. JoAnn Cornish & Jennifer
Tavares gave us an update on the new construction going on along with some interesting statistics in
regards to housing in Tompkins County. The festivities were enjoyed by all and a huge thank you goes out
to Home Depot for sponsoring the event and providing many great door prizes.

Board News: Members will be required to supply a rental address as qualification for membership. You can now
sign up for email notification of city EMPO violations ; www.cityofithaca.org/epmo-signup. LATC had to pay for

18 members who rsvp to the 25th anniversary but did not attend.
Next Meeting Date: Monday, 9-28-15. The agenda for this meeting follows.

notification system
* Review and summary of violations/fine structure

5:30 Break Out Round Table Discussion. A new format will occur for the balance of the meeting. Eight to twelve person
informal groups will be formed which will include one LATC Board member in each group.
Some topics that might be discussed within the break out groups :
* What do you like most about being a member ?

* What areas of the rental property business are the most difficult for you ?
* What meeting topics/ presenters would like to learn from this year ?
* Would you consider being on a LATC Committee ?
* Do you use ithacarents.com ? How could this rental website be better ?
* Have you visited the new LATC website ? Do you like it ? Suggestions ?
* Are there enough opportunities to network with fellow members ?
* If the LATC started using internet based educational webinars, would you participate ?
LATC membership dues are now due for the fiscal year which begins October 1. Kindly bring your membership dues
check to this meeting. Dues will be collected at the sign in table at the beginning of the meeting. As a proud member of
the LATC you are entitled to receive many benefits of membership including valuable discounts at several of our LATC
Sponsors, including Home Depot. A new policy for the LATC is that at the time of your membership renewal, you provide
us with the address of a rental property that you own and/or manage. As a suggestion, in the the " memo line " of your
check, please include the address of this property so that we may update our records. Membership dues may also be paid
online by credit card directly on our web site. . While the educational benefit opportunities to our members and the free
use of our LATC managed ithacarents.com web site continue, so do the costs of conducting, managing and operating
these benefits. As such, a modest increase in the new dues structure has been implemented. Kindly remember that the
cost of membership can be deducted on your income taxes. The new dues structure are:
1 - 10 apartment rental units- $ 50.00
11 - 25 apartment rental units- $ 75.00
26 or more
rental units-$ 100.00
