1. Robotics engineer-A robotics engineer is a behind-the-scenes designer,
who is responsible for creating robots and robotic systems that are able to
perform duties that humans are either unable or prefer not to complete.
Through their creations, a robotics engineer helps to make jobs safer, easier,
and more efficient, particularly in the manufacturing industry. A robotic
engineer average salary is $ 94,310 per year and requires a Bachelor of
Science in Robotics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Five sites in
Newfoundland can train in robotic engineering.
2. Astronaut-An astronaut is an individual trained to pilot and/or travel in a
spacecraft, work in space, and do activities related to human space
exploration. While space flight may now seem routine, every trip into space
can be a walk between success and disaster. Therefore most of an astronaut's
career is spent undergoing extensive training.
3. Software engineer-A software engineer is someone who is engaged in
computer software development, and applies engineering principles to
software creation. They apply these engineering principles to every stage of
the development process, from requirements analysis to the software
process, and create customized systems for individual clients. Just as a civil
engineer will make sure that a bridge has a solid foundation, a software
engineer will also begin with a thorough study of requirements and work
through the development process in a systematic way.
4. Audio engineer-An audio engineer (or a sound engineer) is a trained
professional who works with the mechanics of recording, mixing, and
reproducing sound. Audio engineers are not the same as sound producers,
writers, or performers, as they deal specifically with the technical and the
mechanical aspects of music and sound; nothing else.
5. Traffic technician-Traffic technicians, also known as traffic technologists,
are skilled workers who specialize in the technical aspects of controlling and
studying vehicle traffic. A more general job title for traffic technicians is civil
engineering technician, but more often than not, traffic technicians focus
exclusively on issues involving roadways. Civil engineering technicians, on
the other hand, handle a much broader range of responsibilities such as
working on building construction sites.
6. Biochemical engineer-A biochemical engineer is someone who is
responsible for the development of new chemical products that can be used
by a multitude of companies and individuals. Their job includes researching,
developing, documenting, and producing products that are derived from a
combination of organic and lab-made materials that can benefit people and
society at large.
7. Mechanical engineer-A mechanical engineer is someone who designs,
develops, builds, and tests mechanical devices, including tools, engines and
machines. They work mostly in research and development, manufacturing
industries, and the federal government.
8. Biomedical engineer-A biomedical engineer is someone who analyzes and
designs solutions to problems in biology and medicine, with the goal of
