A question in English
that is a request for
information. Whquestions usually start
with a word beginning
with wh-, but "how" is
also included. The whwords are: what, when,
where, who, whom,
which, whose, why, and
how.

Asking for information
about something, for
repetition or
confirmation.
examples:
What is your name? my
name is Jesus

Asking about time:
hours, minutes,
seconds, night, day,
afternoon and evening.

for more information or
knowledge

selection and preferences.

examples:
