Make the plural

Plurals in English are made by adding an S to the singular noun.

Example: one dog
six dogs

Nouns ending in :
-ch sh s x z -o
Add ES to the singular noun .
Example: one watch
two watches

Nouns ending in Y preceded by a consonant change the Y in I and add ES:

Example: one candy
two candies

Some nouns ending in F or FE change the F in V and add ES

Example: one wolf
two wolves

Some words are irregular:

Child -> children
foot -> feet
tooth -> teeth goose-> geese
Louse -> lice
mouse -> miceman -> men woman -> women
