I appreciate that you appointed Representative Jeanne Poppe to the Legislative Energy Commission, as that Commission is scheduled to meet for a hearing this week, Thursday, September 24, In addition, the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council has been meeting in recent weeks. The Council met on September 1 & 2 to hear funding requests, and is scheduled to meet again on October 6, It is my understanding that the Council will begin making funding recommendations at this upcoming meeting T request that you please finalize your appointment to the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council so the new DFL member can be a part of these important discussions. I reiterate my recommendation that Representative Rick Hansen be appointed to the Council, Please let me know of your decision at your earliest convenience.
