1.2 Ships
Existing ships, ships being built and ships expected to be built in the future are bound to influence the
plan for improvement and new construction of ports. On the other hand, the existing facilities and
physical and economical constrains may influence the types and sizes of ships which will use the
facilities at present and in the future.
