Overview
BTA is the only sootblower manufacturer to embrace both media
(steam/air), and non-media (acoustic) sootblowers. BTA is a supplier of
spare parts for Diamond, Copes Vulcan, and Bergemann
sootblowers.
BTA is a leading supplier of aftermarket sootblower spare parts in the
United States. We can supply everything from poppet valves, carriages,
lance and feed tubes; to a clone of an entire unit. In order to provide
fast service to our customers, BTA keeps several hundred different items
on its shelves for immediate shipment. Individual parts, such as
sprockets, shafts, gears, and even gaskets, are inventoried as well as
complete assemblies like carriages, power packs, and chain tighteners.
Because we routinely purchase pressure part tubing in large quantities,
BTA can offer utility, refuse and industrial power plants considerable
savings in time and money on traditionally "high ticket" sootblower
replacement items like lance tubes, feed tubes and elements.
Common sootblower replacement parts can usually be shipped within 5
business days; more difficult-to-find items, such as lances, feed tubes,
and elements can be fabricated and shipped to meet maintenance
schedules.
Additional Services
Refurbishment - BTA can provide you with a wide range of rebuilding
capabilities for all major manufacturers' equipment. We have exchange
programs for most components and can provide you with the rebuilt
carriage or power pack in advance. We even issue a credit upon receipt
of the worn-out equipment.
Special Products - Through extensive testing and consultation with
leading manufacturers of high temperature alloys and stainless steel
tubing, we have developed materials to meet the demands of refuse
fired boilers. We have a material for elements with outstanding
resistance to various forms of high temperature corrosion attack. It has
excellent resistance to sulfidation and chloride attack in both reducing
and oxidizing atmospheres and is inventoried here at our facility in
Wellford, South Carolina to ensure immediate delivery
