Plato-Leibniz and the I Ching

The I Ching is an ancient Chinese set of hexagrams,

these representing six lines each, which are obtained by concentrating on a question and
using some chance method such as the castings of yarrow stocks or even a randomized
cmputer program, to obtain the yin or yang of each line.

The set of these castings or the memory bytes of 0s and 1s of the computer program then
represent the six physical bodies and the six lines of the corresponding I ching hexagram
are their mental representations, these being six monads. As a whole, these represent a
composite monad.
According to Plato-Leibniz, the hexagram will be predetermined in accordance with
Leibniz's pre-established harmony (PEH). And in my opinion, the patterns of yin and
yang should be random, although the randomness can be either due to effective causation
or final causation. A similar process was used in ancient times to establish interpretations
of the trigrams and their combinations.
At the same time, the intention of the individual's mind using the Yi shlould play a role.
But in the end, whether obtained by mind or Mind, these is no doubt that the PEH (Mind)
is what will decide what is obtained, just as it decides all things.

There is an entirely new way of looking at reality, through what I call Plato-Leibniz, the
21st century philosophy to replace that of 20th century science, in which that is only a
subset. See my website on Plato-Leibniz,
