The branch of philosophy that deals with the
first principles of things, including abstract
concepts such as being, knowing, identity, time,
and space
It investigates the existence of the universe and
the reality of ALL things in it.

Epistemology investigates KNOWWLEDGE.
The study of knowledge or what is worthy of
belief by a rational person

What is the difference between knowing and
believing?

How much evidence does one need for a
belief to be considered knowledge?
Ethics
Ethics studies what actions are morally right and
wrong.

What makes an action morally right and
wrong?
How can we know what is morally right or
wrong in any given situation?
Aesthetics
Is the philosophy of art
Aesthetic means concerned with beauty

Logic
Logic studies right reasoning and
argumentation.
