Materials needed and due by September 14 (A Day) September
15(B day):
***I suggest you make sure you know what the price per yard is on the fabric
before having it cut.***

ALL PURPOSE thread (minimum 225 yards) 1 COLOR MATCHING


BACKGROUND OF PJ FABRIC AND 1 COLOR MATCHING
BACKGROUND OF SHIRT FABRIC

2 spools

____ yards 45cotton woven fabric, must be a print giving the fabric a right and wrong
side
____ yards 60 knit fabric for shirt, solid colors work best.
1 skein of yarn, the thicker, bulkier the yarn the better.
1 yard 45 cotton woven fabric and a small spool of matching thread.
$2.00 for sewing supplies as follows (I buy them in bulk to keep cost down and make
sure students have the correct supply. There have been problems understanding and
finding the correct supplies in the past.)

Tutoring:

8:00-8:25am & 3:45 4:30 pm in F111 (Apparel Lab) with appointment or as

needed.

Students who do not perform during class will not


be allowed to do complete assignments during
tutoring.
Absences:

You are expected to be in class; just as you are expected to be at work.

Rules & Expectations


Respect yourself, others and equipment
Be present, prompt, prepared & positive
NO food, drinks, or gum in the lab AT ANY TIME
Be business-like:
o Keep talking to a minimum
o Keep your supplies organized
o Be considerate of others
Late Work Policy: If a student fails to turn in his/her work on time he/she may turn it in
up until the tardy bell for the next class (A/B) day. The earned grade will be reduces by 30%. If
a student fails to meet late work deadline the work will NOT be accepted. No late work will
be accepted the last week of any six weeks.
Tardy Policy: 2 tardies : detention assigned by teacher; 3 or more: office referral
(continues for one semester)
Dress Code Policy: Student handbook guidelines will be enforced.
