MARTIN ATKINS’ TOUR:SMART SEMINAR AT NIGHTROCKER:LIVE

San Antonio, TX - Martin Atkins could be the definition of entrepreneurial activity in cultural
arts endeavors spanning across genres, borders and industries. For over three decades, Martin
has been at the cutting edge of where the entertainment industry is and where it's headed.

Atkins will be giving a Tour:Smart seminar on March 20, 2010 at Nightrocker:LIVE at 6:30 p.m.
A distillation of Atkins’ thirty plus years in the music business, his book, Tour:Smart and Break
the Band, and corresponding presentation contain not only valuable insight into his methods,
but an unusually candid discussion of mistakes and failures. They cover routing strategies,
strategies to sustain a career, sponsorships, geography, guerilla marketing and entrepreneurial
activity in the music industry.

The seminar is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending may register at
www.tstouring.com under the Events tab.

Atkins wrote Tour:Smart in 2007, and has since spoken around the country and around the
world, at the Midi Institute in China, NAMM, SXSW, CMJ, NYU, USC, Drumtech in London,
By:Larm in Oslo, and many other places, doing Tour:Smart seminars.

Atkins was a member of Public Image Ltd and Killing Joke. He founded industrial super groups
Pigface, The Damage Manual, and Murder Inc., and has played drums for Nine Inch Nails and
Ministry. He is the owner of Invisible Records and Mattress Factory Recording Studios (est.
1988) in Chicago. He is the author of Tour:Smart, a Suicide Girls columnist, a part time lecturer
at Madison Media Institute, and the founder of the revolutionary school R3. Atkins is a producer,
drummer, documentary filmmaker, DJ, and father of four. Whatever the future of music is, you
can pretty much bet that he’ll be in the middle of it.

He is on the road in 2010 in support of Tour:Smart, hosting free Tour:Smart D.I.Y. seminars
worldwide.
