    O Allah, forgive the Ummah of Muhammad



    O Allah, pardon the Ummah of Muhammad


    O Allah, overlook (the shortcomings of) the Ummah of Muhammad


    O Allah, excuse the Ummah of Muhammad

    This prayer is derived from the end of the book Al-Wird Al-Shaafi by the great Sunni Scholar of Palestine of the
    last century, Shaikh Yusuf Al-Nabhaani. He concludes his book with a prayer that he made for himself and for the
    entire Muslim Ummah of the world.

    O Allah, help the ones who helps them and keep their enemies as your enemies. And grant them the
    obvious victory and prevailing help in every era and place as per their deep wish. O Allah, enforce Your
    sacred Shariah and pure religion through them and preserve their dignity and honour till the Day of
    Judgment. O our Lord, accept it from us, for indeed, You are the All-hearing and All-knowing, and accept
    our repentance, for indeed, You are the One who accepts the repentance and Merciful. And send peace
    and salutations upon our master Muhammad and upon all the Prophets and Messengers (Alaihimus
    Salaam) and His household and all His Companions, and All praise belongs to Allah Lord of the worlds.
