Intrams: for all

Every year almost all schools of the country are celebrating Intramurals.
Intramurals or commonly known as intrams is a school-based activity on sports to showcase the talents,
abilities and skills of pupils in sports and not focusing only in their academic performances. It is in sports
also that we promote camaraderie, sportsmanship and friendship among pupils.
However, the common scenario during intrams is not all pupils were given the chance to play such sports
like track and field, volleyball, chess, soccer, basketball and others because there are only few who make
pakyaw of all the games. These some pupils played two to three games and not giving the other pupils
the chance of playing also. We cannot give for one pupil only all the games just to show how intelligent or
talented he/she is in sports but it is how you play the game and winning the battle. Because in sports, it is
not the number of games you played is important, what matters most is the lessons and values you acquire
in playing the games.
Inrams is for all. It is not a school activity for only few. Dont neglect other pupils in sports. It is an
activity that shows unity, helpfulness and perseverance among pupils and teachers. Most of all, it will
teach us how to become humble in winning and accept the rewards of losing.
